Because our services are delivered digitally and become accessible immediately after purchase, we've created this Refund Policy to explain how payments, subscriptions, and refunds work in a fair and transparent way.

We aim to treat every user respectfully, while ensuring the sustainability and integrity of our digital platform.

1. General Policy

  • Most nuJOB.ai services, including assessments, credits, and AI-powered simulations, are delivered instantly.
  • For this reason, all payments are generally final, unless a specific situation qualifies for a refund under this policy.
  • By using paid features, subscribing, or applying a coupon, you agree to this Refund Policy and the Terms of Use.

2. Subscriptions, Renewals & Cancellation

We know people use nuJOB.ai during different stages of their career journey. That's why managing your subscription is easy, transparent, and fully self-service through Stripe.

2.1 Cancel Anytime

  • If you no longer need the service, you can cancel your subscription anytime through your Stripe Customer Portal.
  • There is no penalty and no need to contact support.
  • To avoid being charged for the next cycle, please cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date.
  • This ensures Stripe processes the cancellation in time.

2.2 If You Used a Coupon or Free Month

Some users start with a free month or promotional code — great!

Just note:

  • Promotional subscriptions still renew normally through Stripe.
  • If not canceled on time, the subscription renews at the standard rate.
  • Renewal payments caused by missed cancellation cannot be refunded.
  • This keeps things fair for everyone.

2.3 Restart Anytime

If you decide to come back later, you can reactivate your subscription anytime using the same Stripe Customer Portal.

2.4 Exceptions for Verified Technical Issues

If you attempted to cancel but experienced a verified technical issue in Stripe or the nuJOB.ai billing portal, we may offer a partial refund as a courtesy — but only if logs confirm that the system failed.

2.5 How to Cancel Your Subscription (Step-by-Step Guide)

You can cancel your subscription anytime using these simple steps:

  1. Log into your nuJOB.ai account — Go to nujob.ai and sign in.
  2. Open the account menu — Click the dropdown menu in the top-right corner of the page.
  3. Select "Billing" — This opens your subscription settings.
  4. Click "Open Billing Portal" — A button will appear on your Billing page.
  5. Enter your email and click submit — Stripe will send a secure link to the email associated with your subscription.
  6. Check your inbox — Open the email from Stripe and click the link.
  7. Manage your subscription in Stripe — Inside the portal you can:
    • cancel your plan
    • update payment methods
    • review invoices
    • upgrade or change your plan
    • restart future access anytime
  8. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal — This ensures Stripe processes your cancellation before your next billing date.

3. Technical Issues & Refund Eligibility

We want every user to have a smooth experience. If something doesn't work as expected, we're here to help.

3.1 Reporting a Technical Issue

  • replacement credits / account credit

3.3 Situations Outside Our Control

We cannot offer refunds for issues caused by:

  • global internet outages
  • hosting or cloud provider outages (AWS, Google, etc.)
  • Stripe downtime
  • browser or device incompatibility
  • user-side network or device problems

These situations are outside nuJOB.ai's infrastructure.

4. Assessment Credits

  • nuJOB.ai uses a credit-based system for assessments.
  • Credits activate immediately after purchase.
  • Used or partially used credits cannot be refunded.
  • Expired credits are not refundable, unless a verified technical issue occurred.
  • In rare cases, credits may be replaced — but not refunded.

5. Duplicate, Unauthorized, or Fraudulent Charges

We will issue refunds in cases where:

  • duplicates charges occurred
  • a Stripe processing error happened
  • a transaction is confirmed to be unauthorized

Unauthorized charges must be reported within 7 days.

6. When Refunds Are Not Possible

Refunds cannot be offered for:

  • forgetting to cancel before renewal
  • change of mind
  • dissatisfaction with results or insights
  • inability to secure a job offer
  • unused or expired credits
  • expired promotions
  • incorrect account setup or email
  • delays caused by employers, organizations, or third parties

These situations are not eligible for refunds.

7. Fair Use & Abuse Protection

Refunds may be denied if:

  • the user consumed significant value (tests, reports, simulations)
  • repeated refund requests suggest avoidance of payment
  • coupons or promotions were abused
  • Terms of Use were violated

This ensures fairness for all users.

If approved, Stripe refunds may take 5–10 business days.

9. Payment Processing & Security

nuJOB.ai does not process payments directly and does not store card or bank information. All payments are securely processed via Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified provider.

9.1 Stripe Customer Portal

Users manage billing through Stripe's secure portal.

  • Access is requested via the Billing Page on nuJOB.ai
  • A secure email link is sent to the email tied to the subscription
  • nuJOB.ai cannot modify or cancel subscriptions on behalf of users
  • All changes, including cancellations and upgrades, must be done through Stripe

9.2 No Bank Transfers

nuJOB.ai does not accept:

  • wire transfers
  • bank payments
  • cash
  • direct debit outside Stripe

Attempts to pay outside Stripe are not valid or refundable.

10. Enterprise Clients & Group Purchases

Refund rules for:

  • enterprise clients
  • teams or group purchases
  • educational institutions
  • organizations purchasing bulk access

are governed exclusively by the signed contract between the organization and nuJOB.ai. Contract terms override this public Refund Policy.

Enterprise purchases may include:

  • minimum commitments
  • custom pricing
  • non-refundable fees
  • specific cancellation timelines

Billing disputes for enterprise accounts follow the contract's dispute resolution terms.

11. Final Decision

All refund decisions are made after reviewing:

  • technical logs
  • subscription history
  • usage activity
  • cancellation timing
  • Terms of Use compliance

We aim to be fair, reasonable, and transparent with every request.
